If you’re looking for the perfect family-friendly vacation rental in Traverse City, Michigan, I know just the place for you! Holiday House by Roost North is a new cabin with lots of indoor space, a beautifully modern aesthetic, and a lovely wooded property.

This home is a jaw-dropper. The exterior really stands out with black siding and cedar shake shingles. I could not believe how BIG it was. I circled the property when I first arrived and was shocked to learn it was THREE whole levels once I walked around the back! There are so many places to spend time outside. There is a main level deck, a smaller upper deck, and a cement patio outside of the basement. A fire pit out back is a great spot to tell stories with friends, roast marshmallows, and listen to music while enjoying nature.

The fun continues indoors. The interior set-up is super convenient and refreshingly different! When you walk through the front doors, you enter the main level. This floor is basically one giant room with an attached bathroom. There is a kitchen with a sprawling island, a dining space with huge dining table, and cute little nooks where friends can sit and read a book. This house feels clean, crisp, and ultra modern. Upstairs there is a living room and connected to two bedrooms and another bathroom. This level feels very cozy and stylish. The bedrooms are uncluttered, sleek, and comfy. You can tell no expense was spared on the mattresses, they are some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on in a short term rental!

The basement level includes another bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, and my favorite – a big living room with a very high-end projector allowing you to watch TV and Movies on the blank wall across from it. After turning on the projector and turning off the lights, it feels like being transported to a movie theater, albeit one of the comfiest theaters ever.

Another upside to Holiday House is its proximity to many great attractions in Traverse City and surrounding areas! During our visit, we visited downtown TC, hiked, and checked out nearby sand dunes.

This cabin is a modern beauty with lots of friends for family or friends to spend time on much-needed getaways. This is a good fit for friend groups, families, and even romantic getaways.
